The quiz

The Double Standard Quiz runs in your browser. It helps you recognise whether your experience may match the pattern Clear Path is documenting. Your quiz answers are not sent to Clear Path just because you answer the questions.

If you choose to share your experience, the evidence record form opens separately and explains what information it asks for.

The evidence record

The Clear Path evidence record is for people who choose to share an experience connected to stalking, harassment, abuse, police response, complaints, safeguarding, disability, trauma, or justice-system failure.

The form should ask for clear consent before submission. It may ask for dates or approximate dates, including month and year, so Clear Path can understand the timeline without forcing people to guess an exact date.

• When did the stalking, harassment, abuse, or coercive behaviour mainly happen?
• When did you report it, try to report it, or have the police response you are describing?

Updates consent is separate

Sharing an experience with Clear Path is not the same as joining updates. Update consent should be separate, optional, and unticked by default.

Suggested wording for the evidence record form:

Yes, I agree to Clear Path Justice using my email address to send campaign updates, update emails, and ways to support the work. I understand I can unsubscribe at any time.

What Clear Path is not doing

• The quiz does not provide legal advice.
• Submitting a form does not mean Clear Path has accepted your case.
• Clear Path is not a crisis service, emergency service, solicitor, or regulated legal adviser.
• Clear Path does not share detailed case material publicly or with partners without a clear reason and consent, unless required by law or needed for an immediate serious safeguarding risk.

Safe use

If someone monitors your device, internet activity, browser history, emails, messages, or accounts, using a quick-exit button may not be enough to keep you safe. Consider using a safer device, private support service, trusted person, library computer, or specialist domestic abuse/stalking service if that is safer for you.
